Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computer Systems Repair Specialist to join our team at Equip Exports Canada Inc. as an Electronics Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing electronic equipment and assemblies, diagnosing and locating circuit, component, and equipment faults, and testing and adjusting repaired products for proper functioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Electronic Equipment: Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair, inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to identify faults and defects.
  • Repair and Replace Defective Parts: Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools.
  • Diagnose and Locate Faults: Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults, and identify the root cause of the problem.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Products: Test and adjust repaired products to ensure they are functioning properly and meet the required standards.
  • Complete Work Orders and Reports: Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, and provide detailed documentation of the repair process.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in electronics service and repair.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
