Siebel Software Designer

TV2 Consulting is seeking a skilled Siebel Software Designer to support the delivery of Enterprise Order Manager (EOM), Business Customer Order Management (BCOM), and Internet Provisioning Access Gateway (IPAG) platforms. This role involves working in a hybrid framework, with some tasks following an Agile methodology and others a traditional waterfall approach. The project is estimated to include eighteen iterations of three weeks each, with work delivered under the guidance of Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Agile Teams. As a Siebel Software Designer, you will be responsible for participating as a high-level technical expert in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. You will collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve software issues and develop necessary specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of the Siebel product, including enhancements and customizations, as well as familiarity with both development and infrastructure processes. The ideal candidate will have experience and working knowledge of EOM, BCOM, and IPAG platforms, and be aware of risks related to aging code and potential performance impacts. The successful candidate will work under the general direction of a senior system integrator, project manager, or IT manager. The work hours are Monday to Friday, normal 40 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week. The location is Saint John, NB. The type of job is Temporary Contractor. The length of the contract is 12 months with the possibility of extension. The candidate is required to start immediately. The job requires a strong understanding of the Siebel product, including enhancements and customizations, as well as familiarity with both development and infrastructure processes.
