GOMACO Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced GOMACO Operator to join our team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating GOMACO concrete equipment and working with concrete crews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate GOMACO equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with crew members to complete tasks and duties
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Load, unload, and move equipment as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating GOMACO equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the municipal road building industry
  • Thorough knowledge of GOMACO operation and minor repairs
  • Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods under pressure
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license or above with a clean driver's abstract
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with little supervision
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends
  • Valid safety certifications

Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal position starting in the spring
  • Eligible for overtime
  • Company vehicle may be provided
  • Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
  • Training will be provided for various activities
  • Excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months
