ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking committed and enthusiastic individuals for the position of Outside Parts Sales Representative. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new business by reaching out to potential clients and nurturing existing relationships.

As an Outside Parts Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all parts offered.
  • Conducting outreach through cold calls and in-person visits to establish new partnerships.
  • Promoting our product offerings to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Evaluating sales trends and market potential to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to stay informed about product features and advantages.
  • Addressing and resolving customer concerns effectively.
  • Developing a sales territory through consistent follow-up and service to ensure repeat business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Energetic and personable with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Post-secondary education is beneficial, but relevant experience is also valued.
  • Possession of a parts ticket is advantageous but not required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations.
  • Prior experience in outside sales and cold calling with a proven success record.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is necessary.
  • Experience in parts inventory management is preferred.
