Network Systems Specialist

This is a job opportunity at Avanti Software Inc. for a Network Analyst position reporting to the Director of Information Technology. The role involves maintaining and providing technical support for computer, communication, network, and telephone systems.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain and update various software systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Provide support for Microsoft technologies and radio/dispatch systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Perform troubleshooting and configuration tasks to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Manage hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance.
- Coordinate training and assist with user access security, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Administrative and Financial Management:
- Process paperwork, purchase orders, and billing, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
- Develop IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Participate in annual budget preparation, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
- Education and Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Sciences or equivalent, with a strong foundation in networking and system administration.
- Experience with government organizations and relevant technologies, ensuring adaptability and expertise.
- Knowledge of Dispatching Systems and Microsoft technologies, ensuring proficiency and efficiency.
- Ability to configure computer hardware and troubleshoot issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, ensuring effective time management and productivity.
- Positive, self-driven, and motivated team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is $71,688 to $88,893 per year, with a competitive benefits package. Interested candidates will be contacted if selected, and the competition will remain open until filled.
