We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Organize and direct care activities, ensuring the well-being of residents.
- Collaborate with nursing and personal care staff to manage workload and provide training and development opportunities.
- Assist in the management of resident care, referring concerns to the Director of Care as needed.
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Developed problem-solving skills to address complex care situations.
