Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education and Special Projects Leader to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will be responsible for assessing program and cross-program clinical education needs and priorities, developing learning strategies and education plans, and implementing and evaluating resulting learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with program leaders, educators, and staff to assess clinical education needs and priorities.
  • Develop and implement learning strategies and education plans to meet clinical education needs.
  • Provide education, consultation, guidance, and support to clinical educators on curriculum design, materials development, and effective learning strategies.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of competency-based learning programs for clinical staff.
  • Review existing specialty education programs and projects to inform current curriculum development and implementation.
Requirements
  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a clinical profession, plus additional studies in education.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience, including two years of education experience.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and program evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge of learning and evaluation models, such as logic and Kirkpatrick.
