Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PPH Restaurants Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on hospitality or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity
