Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospitality Assistant - Food Services to join our team at Mackenzie Health. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with meal selection, service, and retrieval, taking into account their dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Prepare and deliver patient meal trays and snacks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculate and implement modified diets, fluid restrictions, and calorie counts as required.
  • Perform various kitchen duties, including sanitation, setup, and temperature logging.
  • Utilize an automated tablet to record and transfer meal selections to our computer system.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current and valid Food Safety Proton Certificate from Public Health.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a host/hostess or in a related role.
