Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Mexican cuisine, ensuring that dishes are creative, flavorful, and visually appealing.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. A high level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential.
