Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our High-Rise Procurement Team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing standards, procedures, and methodologies to optimize construction cost planning and budget management practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of cost consulting, quantity take-offs, and project construction budgeting support.
- Provide guidance on measurement of project statistics and functional areas.
- Prepare and complete trade and elemental take-offs based on preliminary design documents and tender/construction documents.
- Apply advanced understanding of factors influencing construction costs and apply that knowledge to pricing estimates.
- Complete estimates and reports ready for sign-off.
- Prepare and analyze general condition breakdown.
- Work with management to support the implementation of strategies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support to direct reports or team members.
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Construction Management or relevant field of study.
- Working towards PQS designation or member of CIQS/RICS.
- 5+ years of experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or contract administration within the High-Rise residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge in elemental cost analysis.
- Skilled in interpreting construction drawings and other technical documents used in residential construction.
- Excellent knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, and On Centre.
