a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Record Specialist to enhance our accounting team.

As a Financial Record Specialist, you will support partners and managers in delivering high-quality services tailored to our clients' objectives and needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide comprehensive bookkeeping services, including monthly financial reporting, GST/HST and PST returns, WCB reports, payroll processing, ROE Web submissions, interim financial statements, and account reconciliations.Ensure compliance with regulatory and client reporting timelines.Engage directly with clients and partners on various projects.Enhance your knowledge and judgment within a client-focused team environment.Facilitate training for clients and staff on accounting software.Assist in the implementation and configuration of accounting software solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of a bookkeeping diploma/certificate or equivalent professional experience.Prior experience in a public accounting practice is advantageous.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Proficiency with both cloud-based and desktop versions of QuickBooks and Sage50.Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building positive relationships and conveying concepts effectively to clients.Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).Familiarity with CaseWare is a plus.
