Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at Wetzel's Pretzels Union Station. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food services department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of 11-15 staff members to ensure they are meeting our high standards of customer service and food quality.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints, and ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and manage events, including catering and facility rentals.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stock, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the workplace is clean and safe.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management to ensure that all needs are met and that the team is working together effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food services or hospitality management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Overtime may be required.
