Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Lead to join our team at Reel FX Creative Studios. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining character, vehicle, and prop rigs that meet the highest production standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Rigging Supervisor to ensure timely delivery of rigs and optimal rigging solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with off-site team members on global projects.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on Rigging Artists' work to ensure optimal performance rigs.
  • Stay up-to-date with rigging techniques and technology to maintain rig functionality during production.
  • Balance available resources with project expectations and requests.
  • Build and maintain rigs to Animation specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience rigging in film, video games, or television series.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Rigging Lead.
  • Proficiency in current versions of Maya.
  • Working knowledge of Unreal Engine required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritize.
