Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Radio Canada International. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable department, you will be responsible for providing expert financial analysis and guidance to support our collection and billing activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of financial analysts, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and company policies.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of client data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and reconcile complex financial reports, including accounts receivable and cash flow analysis.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial data in our database, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Review and analyze credit applications, evaluating risk and assigning credit lines and terms in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and policies to optimize collections and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
  • Collaborate with the AR management team to achieve monthly goals and improve department efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales and finance teams.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • CCP designation or at least 3 years of experience in credit analysis.
  • Bilingual: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and order-to-cash transactional processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP software and large databases is an asset.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead a team and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
