Job Summary

Turbulent is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Vehicle Team. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of our game, Star Citizen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Vehicle Team in day-to-day operations, including WIP requests, CL validations, and test cases.
  • Participate in review meetings and provide a list of known issues and their status.
  • Learn basic engine functions to eventually submit easy fixes.
  • Maintain a clean and up-to-date Jira database, create and use dashboards, and stay on top of regression.
  • Rigorously smoke-test relevant content daily and send clear, complete, and concise reports.
  • Investigate the cause of new bugs or features that used to work but are now broken.
  • Take initiative in asking for more information when needed and create and maintain test plans.
  • Contribute to building a solid QA team.
Requirements
  • Solid experience as a QA developer in a gaming environment.
  • Experience on a live game.
  • Previous experience with a full game development production cycle.
  • Knowledge of QA management databases like JIRA.
  • Strong ability to write bugs, build daily QA reports, analyze and create burn-down charts.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
