Position: Hungarian Localization QA Tester

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

Role Overview:

Amber is on the lookout for a talented Hungarian Localization QA Tester to join our Montreal team on an as-needed basis. Comprehensive training will be offered to candidates lacking prior experience. As a vital part of our multilingual QA division, your role will involve testing and pinpointing linguistic, visual, and cultural discrepancies in various gaming titles across mobile, PC, and console platforms. If you possess a sharp eye for detail and a love for video games, we are eager to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing quality assurance evaluations on gaming titles in Hungarian
  • Detecting translation, contextual, and cultural inaccuracies in game content
  • Accurately documenting errors in bug-tracking systems
  • Suggesting improvements for translated materials
  • Adhering to terminology standards and collaborating with the team
  • Reporting to the Test Lead and following directives
  • Addressing and escalating issues as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Native-level command of Hungarian
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Familiarity with mobile, PC, and console platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and enthusiasm for video games
  • Professional proficiency in English
