Electrical Engineer Opportunity at Wood

Wood is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. As an Electrical Engineer at Wood, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for large-scale brownfield offshore energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for offshore energy projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure electrical systems are installed and functioning correctly
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree, registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Attention to detail and pride in work quality
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills
  • Strong client focus
  • Resourceful team player with self-starter aptitude
  • Current authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
