Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at MARUTI TRURO NS INC. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations as needed.
  • Table Management
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
    • Manage table settings and ensure that all necessary items are available for customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Assist customers with special needs and provide accommodations as required.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and efficient food and beverage delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure that all customer needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a high volume of customers.
    • Work under pressure to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands
    • Stand for long periods of time and move quickly and efficiently around the dining area.
    • Bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks such as clearing tables and cleaning floors.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
    • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
