Position Overview

CB Canada is actively seeking licensed mental health professionals interested in offering services on a contract basis for our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).

Our EFAP providers offer short-term, solution-focused counseling addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, workplace challenges, stress management, and addiction, and are equipped to assist individuals, couples, and families.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver short-term, targeted, solution-oriented counseling to address a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, relationship issues, stress management, and addiction.
  • Work with adult individuals, couples, families, and children.
  • Provide telephonic support for clients in crisis.
  • Maintain adherence to professional standards and best practices.
  • Participate in training and team meetings as required.
Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a counseling-related field; or a Bachelor of Social Work degree with relevant registration and counseling experience.
  • Registration or clinical membership with a regulatory body in your province of practice.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in counseling, social services, or addiction services.
  • Experience in the EFAP sector is advantageous.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as determined by CB Canada.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
