Custodian Position at Campbell River Christian School

We are seeking a part-time custodian to join our team at Campbell River Christian School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of custodial duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining facilities
  • Work towards exceptional cleanliness and improvements for the school
  • Engage in work requiring mechanical abilities, such as maintaining HVA systems and plumbing
  • Follow and maintain knowledge of school policies and procedures
  • Be willing to take relevant training, including Health and Safety training
  • Be physically able to move up to 50 pounds and operate custodial/maintenance tools and machinery
  • Be a great team player, working with other custodial staff and staff members
  • Communicate clearly and timely with other custodial staff and immediate supervisor
  • Enjoy working in a school environment with children K-12
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and support of CRCS's and ACSI's mission statements

Requirements:

  • Be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ
  • Be an active member of a Christian Church
  • Have the strength and dexterity to operate custodial/maintenance tools and machinery
