Job Title: Electrical Contractor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contractor to join our team at ZA Electrical and General Contractor Ltd. As an Electrical Contractor, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems
  • Maintain and repair electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, and switchgear
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and other technical documents
  • Collaborate with other teams to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical contracting or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
