About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Analyst to join our Power and Renewables Intelligence team at Enverus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and communicating complex energy industry trends and technologies to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on traditional thermal and renewable generation technologies, including coal, gas, nuclear, solar, wind, hydro, and emerging technologies such as hydrogen electrolysers and fuel cells, lithium storage, DCFC, micro-inverters, and CCUS.
  • Develop and maintain proprietary databases critical for formulating opinions on assets, including economic assumptions, operational velocity metrics, and financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and create workflows for external and internal clients to improve accuracy and speed in decision-making processes.
  • Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging Enverus Intelligence, Enverus Foundations, and Enverus Core solutions.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable analysis from large, dynamic data sets.
  • Experience in large data sets, building financial economic models, and data visualizations.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations.
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement and demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ambition to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a steep learning curve and commitment to career development.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and companies driving the energy transition.
