Regional Division Head

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Division Head to lead the Maternal Fetal Medicine division. As a key member of the Regional Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, this role will play a critical part in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing the field of maternal fetal medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement annual operating objectives for the Regional Division
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Regional Division, ensuring effective communication with members and stakeholders
- Establish and maintain standards of clinical practice for the Regional Division, ensuring alignment with Regional Department policies and procedures
- Develop and implement continuing medical education programs for Regional Department members
- Chair Regional Division meetings and facilitate collaboration among members
- Collaborate with universities to promote education and research initiatives
- Promote health and wellness among members and foster a positive work environment
- Investigate and document complaints regarding care provided by members
- Review human resource requirements and contribute to the search and selection of applicants for vacancies
- Establish a quality assurance/quality improvement structure and program for the Regional Department
- Active staff member of Fraser Health Authority
- Active member of the Maternal Fetal Medicine division
