About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective lesson plans that promote physical activity, health, and wellness among students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that meet the BC curriculum standards
  • Instruct students in various physical activities, sports, and games to promote physical fitness and teamwork
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback using Standards Based Grading
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement extracurricular activities and programs
  • Contribute to the academic and spiritual life of the school

Requirements

  • BC Teaching Certificate
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Understanding of and affinity for teaching in a Catholic school environment
  • Dynamic and energetic approach to teaching and learning
