About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Heritage Indian Cuisine Nanaimo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement new menu ideas that showcase the flavors and spices of India, while also ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Team Leadership

Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.

Quality Control

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
