About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at EECOL Electric. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and improve performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior sales experience required, outside sales preferred.
- Two years of industry experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers.
- Ability to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator both written and verbally.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques (Preferred).
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
Working Environment
This role will involve working in an office environment, with frequent travel to customer sites and warehouse facilities. You will be required to drive for extended periods, with frequent stops and starts, and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
