We are seeking a skilled Deli Counter Clerk to join our team at Jelschen Foods Ltd. in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient ordering processes.
- Provide expert advice to customers on merchandise, including food products and related items, to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assist in the display of merchandise to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
- Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and that ordering processes are optimized.
- Prepare and package prepared meats, slice cooked meats, and prepare meals to meet customer demands.
- Package take-out food and handle food preparation tasks to ensure high-quality products.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store.
Requirements- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Weight handling is also a requirement, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.
