Role Summary
Paper Excellence is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our operations team. This full-time position focuses on the upkeep and repair of our machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance.
As a member of the Maintenance department, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the safety and functionality of our equipment, thereby enhancing production efficiency.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal Certification
- Demonstrated experience in an industrial setting
- Expertise in pump overhauls, mechanical sealing, hydraulic systems, and bearing installations
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to upholding a safe working environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $48.66 in accordance with our labor agreement
- Overtime pay as stipulated in the labor agreement
