About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic - Millwright to join our Maintenance team at Paper Excellence's Port Mellon facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure optimum production.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Certification in Millwrighting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in an industrial setting, with a focus on mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including pump rebuilds, mechanical seals, hydraulic systems, and bearing installation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
