About the Role
The Health Care Aide is a vital member of our care team, providing exceptional support and care to residents, families, and volunteers. This role requires a passion for delivering high-quality care, promoting resident independence, and maintaining dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident-Centered Care: Provide personalized care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Documentation: Accurately document and report care observations, ensuring seamless communication with the care team.
- Safety: Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the care team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Requirements
- Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Position Information:
- Classification: HCA
- FTE: 0.54
- Position Type: Part Time Permanent
- Shift And Hours of Work: Evenings (1500-2300)
- Shift Per Cycle: 14 shifts in a 5 week rotation
