Role Summary
This position entails the development and execution of strategic business initiatives aimed at fostering growth and enhancing the adoption of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within the Information Software domain. The role focuses on leveraging Rockwell Automation's platforms for IoT, MES, Analytics, Augmented Reality, CMMS, and other related offerings. As a proactive individual, you will guide the structured Outcome Based Sales Process within the designated territory, ensuring collaboration with the appropriate Delivery Partner for effective solution implementation across various industry sectors such as Automotive, Food and Beverage, Water/Wastewater, Chemical, and Oil and Gas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of Digital Transformation and the relevant business drivers in software.
- Strategic planning and execution for accelerated business growth, including setting targets and managing investments.
- Identifying customer challenges and providing innovative solutions to meet their application needs.
- Managing complexity and adapting to evolving circumstances.
- Utilizing CRM platforms to gain insights into business performance and maintain a robust Opportunity funnel for the Information Software sector.
- Exhibiting strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including public speaking.
- Collaborative mindset, working closely with Delivery Partners in a trusting environment.
- Coordinating with internal and external Sales and Product Specialist teams to achieve successful customer outcomes.
- Implementing marketing and promotional strategies for product launches and key initiatives.
- Analyzing market conditions and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities through an annual business plan.
- Defining and expanding new markets for emerging product technologies.
- Accountable for the revenue performance of the Information Software business.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of skills, experience, or education.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Rockwell Automation products or similar competitive software solutions.
- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team without direct management.
- Proficient in overcoming objections and devising creative alternatives.
- Expertise in Information Software and related services, continuously enhancing technical and commercial skills.
- Effective communication with customers, demonstrating technical and commercial expertise.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new products and technologies.
- Experience in outcome-based selling with a solid understanding of industrial business drivers.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for training and events.
