About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at PETRO CANADA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, as well as process cheques and other forms of payment.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Assist customers with using the self-checkout system and resolve any issues that may arise.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly and efficiently around the store.
