Job Title: Delivery Driver

Eazy Express is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • Operate and Drive: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide professionalism in customer service.
  • Relay Information: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods.
  • Navigation: Use maps and other trip planning aids.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Local transportation/travel experience.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, bondable, driving record check (abstract), drug test, and basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, work under pressure, physically demanding, handling heavy loads.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, cellular phone, gloves.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, dependability, initiative, punctuality.
