Job Overview: The Sales Lead is tasked with driving new business initiatives, nurturing existing client relationships, and achieving or surpassing sales objectives. This position demands exceptional communication abilities, a strong client-centric approach, and the capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Identify and pursue new sales avenues through diverse channels, including outreach, networking, and participation in industry gatherings.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain positive business connections to ensure ongoing sales and client loyalty.
- Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed personal and team sales objectives through strategic planning and execution.
- Product Expertise: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and effectively convey their benefits to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Align sales efforts with colleagues and other departments to enhance overall performance.
- Sales Documentation: Keep precise records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management utilizing HubSpot. Provide regular updates on sales performance to the Chief Revenue Officer.
- Market Analysis: Remain updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor actions to pinpoint opportunities and challenges.
- Client Feedback: Collect and communicate client feedback to refine products, services, and overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related area.
- Highly driven and target-oriented with a proven sales record.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Founder or in a Sales role within an early-stage startup.
- Robust network in sectors such as Deep tech, AI, Mining, Sustainability, Clean Technology, Energy, Health Tech, Software, Hardware, EV, Agri-tech, Manufacturing, Biotech, and Natural Resources.
