Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Senior Scheduling Coordinator to enhance our North Shore Staffing Office team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our staff.
In your role as a Senior Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Managing staffing operations for a designated program, which includes preparing and modifying staff schedules, allocating and calling in relief personnel, and addressing vacancies, leaves of absence, and sick leaves in compliance with the relevant collective agreement. You will also handle vacation requests and respond to inquiries from staff regarding their vacation balances and related matters. Offering direction, support, and training to assigned staff members.Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Completion of Grade 12, with a minimum of five (5) years of recent, relevant experience and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Skills & Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with others. Physical capability to perform the duties of the position. Supervisory skills. Organizational skills to manage work efficiently. Proficiency in operating related equipment.Additional Information
The work schedule, including days off and specific work areas, may be adjusted based on operational needs and the provisions of the Collective Agreement and applicable laws. Successful candidates may need to undergo a Criminal Records Review Check.
