Position Overview

CB Canada is seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer for a full-time or long-term contract position. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in SharePoint site development and management.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Establishing a new SharePoint framework with a workflow engine on Windows Server and SQL Server
  • Creating custom solutions using Visual Studio.NET
  • Building SQL-driven Business Intelligence dashboards, ETL processes, and R Machine Learning for business forecasting
  • Designing browser-based InfoPath forms and workflows for departmental processes, content management, and task organization
  • Developing WSP Packages, custom web parts, and user controls, along with tailored workflows and notifications for business management
  • Utilizing VMware virtualized environments
  • Implementing ETL and reporting processes with aggregated data from various applications via Excel Services
  • Providing support for back-end databases such as RTM/RQM, PasswordState, Fortify and EPO, CQWeb
  • Assisting with Microsoft Project Enterprise and ETL-based BurnRate reporting dashboards (Excel Services)
Qualifications:
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer, with responsibilities similar to those outlined above.
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience with MS SharePoint and MS SQL Server.
  • 2+ years in a Senior role performing tasks such as:
    • Developing strategic documentation and frameworks.
    • Conducting technical reviews and assessments of program objectives.
    • Evaluating alternative solutions to meet departmental goals.
    • Ensuring comprehensive integration of all solution aspects.
    • Monitoring industry trends to align solutions with government and industry technology directions.
Additional Information:
  • This role requires a Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance, along with other necessary clearances.
  • The position involves working on-site a few days a week.
