Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Bilingual Support: Communicate effectively with passengers in both English and French, addressing their concerns and providing assistance as needed.
  • Facilitate Customer Service: Engage with passengers, offer support, and provide information about our services and procedures.
  • Assist with Screening: Accompany passengers through the screening process, helping with their belongings and explaining the process.
  • Provide Information and Options: Explain options available to passengers for screening of their person and special items, medical devices, and sensitive cultural or religious items.
  • Work with Screening Officers: Collaborate with Screening Officers and liaise with front-line stakeholders to ensure passengers receive exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively Intervene: Intervene where required, either in the queue or on the screening line, to provide assistance and support.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain knowledge on disability-related issues and initiatives, with a focus on those in the transportation sector.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education: Possess a post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate strong empathy, active listening, and customer service skills.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience and the ability to communicate fluently, clearly, and effectively in both French and English.
  • Adaptability and Physical Demands: Be able to adapt to customer needs/situations, provide appropriate solutions or alternatives, and provide physical support to passengers with reduced mobility, upon request.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
