Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at DENA GENERAL STORE. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating our cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning the sales floor
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
