Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements. They will assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations, and prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project schedules
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials
  • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and will require attention to detail. They will also need to be able to distinguish between colours and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
