Senior Systemic Game Designer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our creative leadership to develop game systems and mechanics that drive player engagement.
  • Own the design and implementation of 3C game features and systems, ensuring a systemic approach that enhances gameplay.
  • Craft new features to meet product goals, leading agile prints for feature implementation.
  • Guide the team through development and iteration, working with production to scope, prioritize, and schedule features.
  • Coordinate with designers and departments to insert gameplay elements that emphasize systemic game mechanics and enemy interactions.
  • Establish recipes for creative gameplay loops based on permutations between player mechanics and ensure their implementation in the game.
  • Become the guardian of our systemic approach, ensuring it's respected throughout all departments and fulfills the player fantasy of interacting with the world.
  • Collaborate with designers and team members on the fundamentals of elegant design, feedback triage, and adaptive design.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of game design/development experience on AAA titles.
  • Experience implementing designs in Unreal or similar engine.
  • Experience in feature design and building fun gameplay that drives player engagement.
  • Initiative to push boundaries and a strong desire to build something outstanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Live services support is a plus.
  • Excellent communications skills in French and English.
