About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Klohn Crippen Berger. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and planning various types of dams, water and waste management systems, and bridges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic analyses and feasibility studies to determine project viability
  • Design and plan dams, water and waste management systems, and bridges to meet client requirements
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and conduct technical analyses of survey and field data
  • Develop construction specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Establish and monitor construction work schedules to meet project deadlines
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
  • Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
  • Offer mentoring and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • 5 years or more of experience in water resources engineering
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team player skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
