We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our HRIS team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the data and programmatic upkeep of our current HRIS platform.
Key Responsibilities- **Technical Lead**: Serve as a technical lead and be responsible for reporting, KPIs, system upgrades, patches, testing, and other projects as assigned.
- **Data Analysis**: Generate standard queries and analysis of employee-related data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- **Business Consulting**: Act as a consultant for business users to understand business requirements, data, and reporting needs.
- **System Administration**: Manage user access, security roles, audits, and troubleshooting of the HRIS system.
- **Reporting and Dashboards**: Develop and maintain KPI and reports, including the HR dashboard and performance metrics aligned with UHN's Balanced Scorecard.
- **Special Projects**: Work on various projects, including employee opinion surveys, risk assessments, human resources dashboard indicators, training analysis, person power planning, and other initiatives.
- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or human resources decision support environment.
- **Technical Skills**: Hands-on knowledge of HR systems (VIP, SumTotal) and practices, experience with project planning methodology, and advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative, develop creative solutions, and work independently and as a team member.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
