About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst, Group Benefits Consulting to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our Benefit Consultants with client management requirements, focusing on retention of the assigned book of business and supporting business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial analysis of insurance data and cost modeling
  • Prepare financial analysis reports and presentations communicating key results to clients
  • Develop strategic recommendations for clients and participate in new business development
  • Manage the quality and timeliness of client deliverables
  • Assist in maintaining internal databases and trackers
  • Maintain and develop internal technical knowledge
  • Participate in training new colleagues and junior team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting or group benefits insurance
  • ASA / ACIA designation of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) / Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) is an asset
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel (including VBA)
