Position Overview

As a Supervisor of Heavy Equipment Operations at Ulmer Contracting Ltd., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery on various job sites.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role within the industry

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating costs and required materials for projects
  • Overseeing apprenticeship training programs

  • Coordinating work activities with other supervisors or project managers
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Recommending personnel actions
  • Requesting necessary materials and supplies
  • Supervising project operations and workers
  • Providing training or arranging for training sessions
  • Managing the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery
Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of:

  • 5-10 personnel, including drillers and heavy equipment operators
