Position Summary
Title: Forklift Driver
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Role Objective: We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to fulfill the role of Forklift Driver in Truro, NS. This full-time position may require flexible hours based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting raw materials to various production machines within the facility.
- Efficiently removing finished products from the production lines.
- Ensuring all transportation activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Preferred: Forklift certification and relevant experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Proficient in reading production schedules and writing necessary documentation.
- Basic math skills are essential for managing the volume of materials handled.
- Approximately 1 to 3 months of on-the-job training is necessary to master the various aspects of the role.
