About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at Starlight Casino. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Process reservations and plan guest seating arrangements.
  • Assist servers with food and beverage expediting, bussing, and cleaning.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is an asset.
  • Cash handling experience using a POS system or cashier register is required.
  • Serving It Right (BC)/Proserve (Alberta) certificate or Smart Serve (Ontario) is a must.
  • World Host/Super Host certificate or other similar customer service programs are preferred.
  • Effective public speaking skills and presence are essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds, specifically a fully loaded serving tray.
