Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Waterford Retirement Community-Barrhaven. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents with varying needs, including those with dementia and other complex conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct regular assessments, monitor residents' health status, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide other nursing interventions as required.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in nursing or memory care
  • Fluency in French
  • RPN certification
  • First Aid/CPR certification
