Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Fleet Foreman/Woman to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, training or arranging for training, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 11-15 people and coordinate activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and a strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
