Senior Commercial Claims Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior General Claims Adjuster to enhance our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating, assessing, negotiating, and resolving commercial claims through both telephone communication and written correspondence. This role involves guiding field adjusters on specific assignments and ensuring the meticulous recording, reporting, and presentation of claims files.
Key Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an insurance claims setting, with a preference for knowledge in commercial lines.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant insurance discipline, with a focus on achieving full licensure and CIP designation.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough telephone investigations, assess, negotiate, and resolve both first and third-party commercial claims.
- Competence in Claims Management Systems (CMS), ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of activities, transactions, and reserves.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Office 365 applications.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player dedicated to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
